GTA IV is a much-hyped game.
Visit the Aggregate sites (such as MetaCritic) and it's clearly one of the highest ranked games of all time.
Does it deserve the applause?
GTA IV has its flaws - but they aren't many.
The positives far outweigh these flaws. The game has is crafted with a captivating storyline that grips you right from the opening sequence. The characters are well sketched out (pun intended) and you find yourself identifying with them inspite of their over-the-top criminal ways. The city is well designed and there is plenty of activities to do. The main storyline can take up to 30 hours to complete - doing the side missions will can take up to 70 hours. So it's well worth price.

And what about the flaws?
There a few: A major one being the lack of checkpoints. Failing a mission is a very painful as you often have to repeat a vast number of tasks. The game punishes you severely for failure.
Secondly the controls are a bit dodgy at times.

Regardless of those flaws, however, this game comes heavily recommended. If you've got an Xbox 360, you MUST play this one!!!

This is by far the most unbelievable game I have ever played! The graphics are amazing and the game as a whole is just so awesome!!
