Buy this game, Its as simple as that!
Nothing I have ever played comes close to this. I am in awe as to how the developers managed to squeeze out such graphical perfection from the 360. This is going to be the envy of all PS3/ GT5 owners & fans.
I cant think of anything negative about this game. Its just amazing, a flawless title. Not to mention the overwhelming carlist... Bmw E30 M3, Golf mk1 GTI, not to mention Ferrari, Porsche & Lamborghini!
I'm going out on a limb here... "The Best racing game EVER"

Having reached the midway point of Season 3 in the career mode, I've reached the conclusion that Forza 3 is the best racing game released so far. I haven't reached the LM classes yet, and will wait until I do to give a definitive review, but last night, racing an Audi R8 on the Fujimi Kaido track was breathtaking.
Going up was one thing, but coming down at high speed, staying on the very edge of control, was brilliant. I found the first season to be a bit of grind, working your way through lower classes to get to the better stuff, but now that I'm at the Class A cars the game is a real treat. As fast as anything, as beautiful as anything and the handling is precise and distinct for all the vehicles.
I do have a slight disappointment or two though :-
* I miss a "License challenge" style method of progression. Like I said getting to the good stuff does feel like a bit of a grind.
* I will not go near the Drift crap!
* No Spa track - I really enjoy this track in GRiD and RacePro and wish it was here also.
* The penalty for going off line is a bit stiff, I'm sure the chicanes at Suzuka don't have magical glue that will bring your car to a near stop if you put a wheel outside the rumble strip. I suppose it stops online cheating, but I preferred Race Pros penalty system for handling that. It just suspends realism a little.
* You get so many cars as rewards that you don't really need to spend time evaluating what to buy. And the quick tune does such a good job that spending hours getting the setups right is also not worthwhile.
* that's about it - apart from the ridiculous decision to deny us the bonus cars.
On the positives, apart from the fact that the cars and tracks are the best in any game yet, the speed of the racing is blistering and it looks brilliant.
* I like the instant Leaderboard. Being able to see that your Nordschliefe laptime was in the top 2% is great.
* The sound is great.
* The 'reverse time' works better than I thought it would, and takes some of the grind out of the boring bits. Completing a championship to level up is easier if you can recover from blowing it by putting a tyre on the grass at a chicane.
* The AI is good. They'll certainly not step out of your way, there are times you'll need to pull a trick or two to get by, and the fact that they buy the odd feint is testament to good AI as well.
* You get so many cars as rewards that you don't really need to spend time evaluating what to buy. And the quick tune does such a good job that spending hours getting the setups right is also not worthwhile. (yes I know its under negatives too, sometimes I like spending hours getting setups right, but it sure does make it easier to get through the game otherwise. I'm glad the GT classes have more tuning options though)
In conclusion I think Forza 3 is the best racing game to date.
